Orphans and Vulnerable Children

Amen provides free housing for orphans and vulnerable children. Many of the youth are abandoned due to poverty or orphaned. Amen provides food, shelter, schooling, clothing, and medical care.

Reunification

Amen reunifies street children with their families through the help of the police and/or government orphanages. Most of the street children living in Addis Ababa are from the countryside with no clue and noone to assist them.

Schooling for the Young

Amen Charitable Organization provides basic education materials, as well as, school uniforms, shoes, payment of annual fees and allowance for transport for children under the age of 18 years old.

Amen Charity Organization was founded in 2017, as an indigenous non-government, non-profit humanitarian voluntary organization, to play its part in addressing some of the issues associated with the overwhelming cases of orphans, abandoned and destitute children. The Organization has been registered with the Organizations of civil society's proclamation No. 1113/2011.

Amen in the Media (KANA TV, Nahoo TV, etc.)

Among other services provided, Amen offers orphanage accommodation that provides shelter, clothing, food and medical care for up to 50 children per year under its care.

Amen also provides school fees and transportation services for the kids to attend schools. This service will be continued until the beneficiaries' complete their higher education. Furthermore, plans are underway to provide training on different topics and seed money for their families and/or guardians.
